ESP Salary Schedule: Range 20 Step 1
Hours: Up to 8 per week

Location: District Wide

General Purpose

 

The successful candidate will be fulfilling and delivering orders throughout the Ogden School District as requested through the Marketstar Student Resource Center. They will work with the Center Coordinator to assemble, track, and package the orders, and will be responsible for loading and unloading orders. A district vehicle will be provided to make deliveries. A district cell phone will be provided for work use.  Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders as requested of basic food, clothing, hygiene, and household items for students and families
• Assemble food kits
• Assemble hygiene kits
• Sort and deliver clothing
• Sort and deliver household items
• Package and label items for delivery
• Assist with maintaining inventory using a computer tracking system
• Track completed deliveries on a spreadsheet
• Must keep a clean and organized workspace
• Stock and organize storage shelves
• May deliver food to students in quarantine as needed
• Other duties as assigned

 

Education and Experience and Other Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• No experience required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Completion of the Defensive Driver Training through Risk Management, upon hire
• Basic computer skills are required for receiving and tracking orders

 

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• The job occasionally requires light physical exertion including walking, standing, motor vehicle operation and other forms of light physical activity.
• The job occasionally requires a moderate level of physical exertion such as handling medium weight materials (11-50 pounds), extensive standing, walking, crawling, bending, stooping or climbing, or assisting special education students with their physical needs.
• Typically involves contact with students, parents, teachers, principal, assistant principal and/or other staff members.
